Dr. Johny J. Kannampilly is a consultant diabetologist, Medical Director at Metnoia NewHealth, and former Head of the Department of Diabetology at VPS Lakeshore Hospital. A 1st rank holder in advanced diabetology at the W.H.O. Centre in Zagreb, Europe, he is the first doctor from Kerala trained and specialized in Podiatry and Diabetic Foot Care at King’s College London under world-renowned Prof. Mike Edmonds. In 2003, Dr. Kannampilly became the first specialist in India to install an insulin pump. He is also a Guinness World Record holder in podiatry and a Harvard-trained obesity management specialist.
